Wednesday 6 February, 2008BSIA hosts second annual Information Destruction ConferenceThe British Security Industry Association is hosting its second annual Information Destruction Exhibition and Conference to be held on 23rd April at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel, Coventry. The event is an ideal opportunity for the information destruction sector to get to grips with the latest developments and trends affecting the industry.
BSIA Information Destruction Chairman, Anthony Pearlgood, comments: "This year's conference schedule covers a diverse range of issues, all of which are essential to the running of a successful information destruction business. Identity fraud is a concern which all information destruction companies should be aware of and Helen Lord of Experian will be providing an insight into the latest trends in this area. Health and safety advice will be provided by Citation, specialists in professional advice and compliance packages for businesses. Speakers will also focus on two essential elements of the British Standard for the industry - BS 8470; namely, vehicle tracking and staff vetting. There will also be presentations on the health and safety standard OHSAS 18001 and how to market your business, as well as a lively debate on the future of the information destruction sector."
"With a social evening following the conference, the event is an ideal opportunity to network, meet suppliers and view the latest industry services and products during the exhibition. It is also a chance for information destruction companies considering BSIA membership to come and understand what the BSIA is all about and how membership can benefit your business. As last year's event was such a success, I'm sure this year's conference will prove to be unmissable for those in the information destruction sector."
