Stolen bikes returned to owners

Two bikes were found abandoned in woods near Ashford, Kent and handed in at the local police station. On examination, police noticed one of the bikes had been etched so contacted the affiliated security register. It transpired that the etched bike had been stolen a few days earlier, while the second bike, which had been stolen at the same time, belonged to the neighbour  of the owner who had property marked their bike. Both bikes were returned to grateful owners.
