The closing date for Nominations for 2018’s Security Personnel Awards has been extended so that the widest number of companies, members and staff can be included in the Awards.
With applications re-opened, the British Security industry Association is now calling for members to nominate employees that have surpassed expectations during the awarding period, to make it the biggest and best in its history.
The BSIA’s Security Personnel Awards recognise the commendable and limitless contributions made by security personnel each and every day, for achievements in a range of categories. Awards are presented for Service to the Customer, Outstanding Act, Best Newcomer, Best use of Technology and Best Team, in both regional and national rounds of judging. The national presentations will take place at the BSIA’s flagship event, its Annual Luncheon in July 2018.
The 2017 awards saw 33 high calibre regional winners and 15 outstanding national winners scoop awards for their contributions to community safety and maintaining our industry’s favourable reputation. Many of these inspirational achievements included life-saving actions, exceptional customer service and impressive teamwork.

These professional men and women play a vital role in safeguarding our nation and the BSIA takes immense pride in helping to recognise their achievements.

Security personnel are the public face of our industry and are key to the continued growth of consumer trust; as such it is hugely important that we reward the exceptional levels of professionalism displayed by security personnel.”

The Security Personnel Awards are open to members of the BSIA’s Security Guarding, CVIT, Leisure Industry, Specialist Services and Crowd Management sections of membership. The winners and their employers receive positive publicity in local and regional media, as well as comprehensive coverage in the security trade press.
