Monday 27 October 2025 - BSIA COMMS
In a landmark webinar held yesterday, Paul Evans (Chair) and Peter Harrison MBA (Deputy Chair) unveiled the results of the Security Guarding Industry Leadership Consultation Survey. The session marked a pivotal moment for the sector, confirming the industry-wide workstreams that the S12 will now lead and support.
The S12, recognised as the formal conduit for the Security Guarding Industry to engage with government, regulators, and stakeholders, has received confirmation from Security Minister Dan Jarvis of five upcoming meeting dates. These will be published on www.securityleaders.co.uk and were announced towards the end of the webinar, which can be viewed here.
Early next week, registration links for each workstream will go live on the website, enabling professionals across the industry to contribute directly to the S12’s efforts. These workstreams will culminate in an executive paper presented to the Minister and key stakeholders, outlining the actions, outputs, and objectives achieved.
The S12 emphasises inclusivity—every voice matters. Whether you're raising concerns, proposing ideas, or offering evidence for change, this is your opportunity to shape the future of the industry. Trade Associations, Industry Groups, and Collectives are encouraged to feed in their outputs and engage openly with the S12 by contacting comms@securityleaders.co.uk.
Importantly, the S12 does not seek to replace existing good work but to unify efforts and ensure that all contributions are channelled effectively to drive ethical, legal, and professional standards across the sector.
