BSIA: The joining process
Following your initial enquiry, the process of joining the BSIA couldn't be simpler:
1. Initial discussion
If your company meets our membership criteria, we will call you to discuss membership and, if applicable, arrange a visit to go into more detail about how membership can benefit your business and answer any questions you may have.
We will help you fill in an application form and discuss the supporting documentation.
3. Due diligence
BSIA will undertake the appropriate checks against the membership criteria.
4. Section approval
Your application will be endorsed by the section of membership you are applying to join (for applications to join our Security Guarding or Security Systems sections, this involves being approved at regional and national level).
5. Board ratification
Finally, your application will be put before the Operating Board of the Association for ratification.
