At the end of November 2013, Lambeth's Risk and Insurance Team partnered with SmartWater, and the 50 council buildings considered to be at the greatest risk were issued with SmartWater traceable liquids to mark their metal infrastructure.
Launched in 2013, the Hamble River Harbour Authority made approximately 4,000 SmartWater traceable liquid packs available to boat owners.
Prior to 2007, robberies of cash and valuables in transit (CVIT) vehicles that supply retailers, banks and other financial services were on the rise. Adding SmartWater traceable liquids into CVIT cashbox systems changed the environment in which thieves operated.
