Marks and Spencer are the first UK high street retailer to gain the Surveillance Camera Commissioner's Surveillance Camera Certification. The official presentation of the award - certified by the SSAIB inspectorate - was outside the Head Office of Marks & Spencer at Merchant Square, London, on Wednesday 19th October 2016.

Serco adopts SoloProtect for lone worker safety

BSIA member SoloProtect have been working closely with Serco Group PLC (Serco), a service and outsourcing company that has been delivering essential public services for more than 50 years. In 2012 Serco signed a contract with the UK Border Agency (UKBA) to deliver the COMPASS project, providing accommodation, associated services and transport for asylum applicants in two regions of the UK. With over 220 lone workers attached to the COMPASS team, it was extremely important Serco understood their duty of care to their employees and lone worker safety in particular. SoloProtect's Identicom device played a key role in ensuring a superb duty of care to Serco's lone worker team.
