Rob Johnson - Chairman of the Cash and Valuables in Transit Section
Rob Johnson is the Chairman of the BSIA’s Cash and Valuables in Transit Section. Rob’s young life and education was in Staffordshire before starting work in the Tools and Fixings Industry in which he worked for fourteen years. During this time he was responsible for a number of key areas including, transport, commercial and sales activities. Following that, he started working for Loomis UK who are the UK's largest dedicated Cash In Transit and cash management provider and globally have a presence in 20 countries.
Rob began working for Loomis UK in 1991 and held a number of Branch Manager roles in the Midlands and the North before joining the UK Risk Team 13 years ago. Having spent a number of years in Audit and Cash Rob advanced in 2013 to the position of Head of Risk for Loomis UK having overall responsibility for all risk management activities in the UK including investigation, audit, policy, H&S and external threat.
Rob was nominated to the role of CVIT Section Chairman in July 2015 and utilises his twenty-three of experience in this sector to lead this knowledgeable and hard working group.
