Skyguard: Wokingham Borough Council

Skyguard currently work with over 130 local authorities in providing lone worker protection for a wide variety of job roles. One such authority is Wokingham Borough Council.

The local authority is responsible for a wide range of public-led services throughout the area covering their 160,000+ residents. The Council have issued MySOS personal alarms to their Car Park Supervisors to ensure they can call for backup and support in the event of an emergency.

Guardian24: Meath County Council

Meath County Council, located in the Republic of Ireland, serves a population of over 185,000 people. Employing around 800 employees, the Council are responsible for a number of services within the community.

In order to protect employees that work alone, the Council has turned to Guardian24 to implement 125 MicroGuard personal safety alarms. Employees who lone work within Meath County Council include Traffic Wardens, Engineers, Social Workers,  Planners, Environmental Employees, Water and Wastewater Caretakers, Clerk of Works and Winter Maintenance Drivers.

Harlow Council’s Lone Workers Carry Skyguard Personal Alarms, 24/7

In an effort to mitigate potential risk to its lone workers, Harlow Council have issued Skyguard’s BS 8484 approved personal alarms to its Supported Housing staff, Environmental Health Officers, Stewards and other lone working employees for increased personal protection.
