Joining the BSIA's Property and Asset Protection Section

Companies wishing to join the BSIA's Property and Asset Protection Section must meet the following criteria in order to be admitted to the section:

Property and Asset Protection Section Criteria

Property and Asset Protection Company – A company engaged in the design, manufacture, installation, distribution, maintenance or repair of security equipment intended to protect property and assets. Such equipment should provide security primarily through its physical attributes. Vacant Property Protection Company – A company providing services related to the protection of unoccupied properties.

Property and Asset Protection Section ISO 9001 Accreditation

In accordance with clause 2.3 of the Model Section Rules of the Association, membership of the Property and Asset Protection Section is conditional on the Operating Board being satisfied that the member has the relevant ISO 9001 accreditation.
