MAN Commercial Protection celebrate 30th Anniversary with academy launch
MAN Commercial Protection Ltd are celebrating a milestone – the Midlands' largest privately-owed security company have turned 30!
Ranked in the Top-20 UK security companies, MAN Commercial remains privately owned by co-founder and CEO Iain McCallister. Based in Solihull, West Midlands, MAN Commercial now owns and occupies a 12,000 sq foot suite of offices in Cranmore.
MAN Commercial operate across varied sectors, including logistics, transport, manufacturing, sports and entertainment, councils, pharmaceutical, aviation and property management. The company’s expertise is manned guarding, which includes providing static officers, door supervisors, loss prevention, reception/concierge, mobile response/patrols, keyholding, CCTV monitoring.
You may also recognise the MAN Commercial brand from seeing them on the television – the company are preferred suppliers to world-famous boxing promoter Frank Warren and were there to oversee the safety of the boxers and the crowd at Tyson Fury’s two famous bouts in 2022, watched live by 94,000 spectators and screened across the globe.

In celebration of their landmark anniversary, MAN Commercial are opening a brand new Training Academy, on site at the Solihull HQ. Led by a fully-qualified industry-leading trainer, the academy specialises in offering industry training including SIA licence qualifications, first aid, leadership and management courses, stewarding, and more. “Our 30th birthday seems like the perfect time to expand our services into training, and we hope this venture will attract more people to join the security industry. Our training team will work closely with our recruitment team to offer interviews to leaners for roles with us after course completion. ” says Iain. MAN Commercial are also brand ambassadors for the British Security Industry Association’s ‘3Ps’ campaign, which is focused on promoting security as a career of choice.
The MAN Commercial Protection Training Academy will officially open its doors after the launch party on 27th April, which is being held on site.
