BSIA activities and related events at IFSEC in 2023

Wednesday 26 April 2023 -

It's less than a month before we return to IFSEC and we are looking forward to seeing you there.

Our BSIA stand gives you the opportunity to promote your services on our double monitors, so if you have video content you wish to promote to our visitors, please send it over to us. If you would like to do this please send us your videos via WeTransfer or Dropbox to the link below!

This year our stand will include a Government Relationship area, with representatives from RISC, JSaRC and UK Defence & Security Exports on hand each day.

We will be hosting the mental health charity, Mates in Mind, who will be offering advice to anyone wishing to introduce new working methods in dealing with wellbeing in the workplace.

Mates in Mind will also be presenting on Tuesday 16 May at 12.15pm in the IFSEC Tech Talks Seminar Theatre.

The BSIA technical team will once again be offering its drop in surgeries, taking place twice a day. The team will be happy to discuss with you all things technical, from facial recognition technology to All-IP. The surgeries will take place on Tuesday to Thursday at 11am and 2pm.

In addition, the technical team will be also offering cybersecurity for connected alarm systems surgeries on all three days from 12.30pm-1.30pm.

We will also be hosting Alarm Receiving Centre networking drinks on Tuesday at 4pm and BSIA members Simpro will be hosting sponsored networking from 4pm on Wednesday.

The stand will also host an Export Council catch up over drinks as well on Wednesday at 2pm.

IFSEC will be hosting speakers from the Manchester Inquiry on Wednesday 17 May and Home Office, including Scott Wilson, Dr David BaMaung, Figen Murray, Debbie Bartlett and Kish Naidoo, presenting sessions on the security and preparedness recommendations anticipating the implementation of Martyn’s Law.  Tickets are limited, so book today.

IFSEC have released this years Tech Talks, which will be taking place over the three days. There's something for everyone, so take a look and reserve some thought provoking and valued added events in your diary.
