UK associate membership is open to companies who supply products or services to, or as part of, the security industry, but which do not provide security solutions themselves. Overseas associate membership is open to security companies registered and trading outside of the United Kingdom who would like to be updated on developments within the British security industry.

 

The types of company in BSIA associate membership include: software providers, certification bodies, training providers, insurance brokers, personnel vetting service providers, quality assurance consultants, recruitment agencies, facilities managers, and trade associations.

 

BSIA recruitment agency associate members have been particularly active and have developed their own code of ethics to give guidance on safeguards that clients can expect from the recruitment organisations in their undertaking to source and place security personnel. The code of ethics can be downloaded below. 

Our overseas associates are based in countries as diverse as: Eire, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, India and Tanzania.

Code of Ethics – Recruitment Organisations Supplying Security Personnel

This Code of Ethics (CoE) has been prepared by the British Security Industry Association Ltd (BSIA) and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) to give guidance on safeguards that clients can expect from the recruitment organisations in their undertaking to source and place security personnel.
