Working for you

Successes in representing our members

Over the years the BSIA has been working on behalf of its members, to ensure that your views and concerns are taken into account in the development of legislation, and in subsequent amendments and clarification.

A busy programme of political engagement is at the heart of the BSIA's activities, which includes regular contact meetings and Parliamentary roundtables, as well as attending the major political party conferences.

We also sit on many committees that deal with security issues from both a government and industry perspective in order to get our members' voice heard, such as JSaRC, RISC, SRGP, SIA Strategic Forum and the Security Commonwealth.

As the result of our work we have been influential in influencing legislation and in the creation of initiatives that have enabled our members to operate effectively and safely.

This page highlights just a few of our successes over the last few years to showcase how the BSIA, as the voice of the professional security industry, is committed to the delivery of one of many quality services to its members.
