Guardian24: Cheshire West and Chester Council

The Integrated Early Support Service at Cheshire West and Chester Council has turned to Guardian24 to protect over 100 employees who carry out Lone Worker visits. 

The Integrated Early Support Service is an innovative multi-agency service that was established in October 2013. Early help for families Community Safety, Education Welfare and Young People's Services are all part of the service.

Supporting thousands of people at home, at work and in the community, Advance provides a vital lifeline to those starting out in a position of disadvantage. 

With care staff and volunteers regularly visiting people's homes alone within the community, Advance felt it was necessary to provide them with some form of emergency backup, should a hostile situation arise.

Guardian24: Meath County Council

Meath County Council, located in the Republic of Ireland, serves a population of over 185,000 people. Employing around 800 employees, the Council are responsible for a number of services within the community.

In order to protect employees that work alone, the Council has turned to Guardian24 to implement 125 MicroGuard personal safety alarms. Employees who lone work within Meath County Council include Traffic Wardens, Engineers, Social Workers,  Planners, Environmental Employees, Water and Wastewater Caretakers, Clerk of Works and Winter Maintenance Drivers.

Guardian24: Gateway Family Services

Gateway Family Services is a Community Interest Company which provides vital services to the communities in and around Birmingham and the West Midlands. The not-for-profit organisation works in partnership with the NHS and Local Authorities in providing health and wellbeing services with the common theme of "people who need help".

Health and Wellbeing is at the heart of Gateway who offers support via their Pregnancy Outreach Worker Services and Health Trainers, giving one-to-one advice to vulnerable clients out in the community. These employees, along with volunteers, often work alone.
