Author: Matthew Grimley/20 March 2017/Categories: Case Studies, Lone Workers, Housing Associations

Catrefi Conwy is a Registered Social Landlord in North Wales with nearly 3,880 properties in the county of Conwy, and is focused on 'creating communities to be proud of'. The Housing Association has chosen SoloProtect to help protect its lone workers for the last two and a half years. When specifying, the solution was viewed as a key part of the organisation's ongoing duty of care to staff and central to achieving an ongoing culture of excellent Health and Safety.

SoloProtect has been helping employers to protect their workforce since 2003, and supplies a fully-managed solution to workers who fulfil a wide range of job roles at Cartrefi Conwy. The solution features the Identicom lone worker device, which is designed as an ID badge, and is easy to wear, and discreet to use. Identicom, which is enabled with GSM, GPS and Incapacitation Alarm technology, remains the most commonly used lone worker device in the United Kingdom, and is used by over 200,000 lone workers world-wide.
