Following on from a hugely successful HMG-industry procurement workshop in 2024, JSaRC (Joint Security and Resilience Centre) in the Home Office is hosting a SME procurement workshop for RISC members at its Cambridge HQ. The focus is on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from the security sector. In collaboration with the Government Commercial Agency (GCA), the workshop will explore the commercial procurement landscape, including legislation, frameworks and social value. It will cover the Procurement Act 2023 which came into force in February 2025 + the Home Office SME Action Plan (2025-2028). Please note this is an educational session with a Q&A, and not a pitch event.
