BSIA Chief Executive Mike Reddington joined security professionals, industry leaders and academics at the launch of Event Security and Leadership at Corps Security’s London headquarters on 15 September.
Co-authored by Chartered Security Professionals Dr Mike McDonagh and Charles Swanson, the book explores the evolving challenges of securing major events in an increasingly unpredictable world. Covering topics ranging from Martyn’s Law and counter-terrorism to crisis management, intelligence gathering and leadership, the publication highlights the importance of proactive, strategic security planning.
The launch brought together representatives from across the security sector, including members of the Security Institute and Corps Security, to discuss the lessons learned from major incidents and the future of event security.
