BSIA Welcomes New Technical Officer Drue Gover

Monday 04 August 2025 - BSIA Comms

The BSIA is pleased to announce the appointment of Drue Gover as a new Technical Officer, who joined the association last week. Welcome Drue!

Drue has an electronic security industry / I.T. background spanning over 30 years, initially working as an electronic test engineer to component level, before being promoted to Product Manager on CCTV / Video Transmission systems. He has also been a Technical Support Engineer / Manager and for the last 10 years has been a Technical Director involved in Technical and Project Management, commissioning, programming, system design, installation, maintenance, support and training, on I.T. & electronic security projects.

Travelling extensively across the UK & Europe dealing with blue-chip end user companies, as well as many prestige customers / high security clients, including Airports, Datacentres, etc.

Having worked for several companies over this time including the Advanced IT Security Ltd, Norbain SD Ltd, CBC Europe Ltd & The Vision Research Company, with vast experience and qualifications on many of the leading security equipment brands, which will stand him in good stead going forward.
