When the BSIA moved offices in July 2025, we donated much of our furniture to charity and projects within the community in the Worcester area. Some of the furniture was donated to Bishop Perowne Church of England College and we have received the following message regarding their usage:
"On behalf of everyone at Bishop Perowne, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to BSIA for the generous donation of desks and chairs over the summer. These were put to immediate use in our DT rooms, which were undergoing significant refurbishment at the time.
As you know, school budgets can be extremely tight, so being awarded a capital improvement fund to upgrade our DT block was a huge achievement for us. Your donation played a meaningful role in helping us stretch that funding even further, enabling us to make additional improvements across the site that directly benefit our students.
The impact was felt not just in resources, but in morale. Several of our teachers commented on how grateful they were to receive their first new desk and chair in many years. It made a real difference — both practically and personally.
Thank you again for your support. Your generosity has had a genuine, positive impact on both our staff and students, and it is greatly appreciated".
