We are proud to announce that Eaton’s Scantronic intruder alarm panel range has achieved EN18031-1, independently certified and awarded by Element, a UKASaccredited provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services. This prestigious certification demonstrates Eaton’s commitment to delivering products that meet the highest standards of cybersecurity and quality. EN18031-1 is a rigorous European standard designed to ensure robust protection for internet-connected radio equipment, supporting compliance with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED). By meeting these requirements, Eaton’s Scantronic panels are proven to offer advanced safeguards against cyber threats, ensuring the safety and reliability of customers’ security systems across Europe.
Our decision to certify Eaton’s entire range of Scantronic control panels—including wired, radio, and hybrid models—goes beyond regulatory requirements.
