The BSIA is delighted to offer its SME members, exclusive access to a specially selected library of British Standard Institution (BSI) standards. The BSIA Members’ Standards Library gives eligible members convenient, cost-effective access to a carefully selected collection of British, European, and international standards relevant to the professional security industry.
The library has been developed around the real technical and operational needs of BSIA members. Its coverage spans established areas such as security & safety systems, guarding and security services, access control, video surveillance, monitoring and response, alongside increasingly important subjects including cyber security, AI and biometrics, risk management and business continuity. The collection will be reviewed so that it can continue to reflect changing technology, regulation, and industry priorities.
For members, the value goes beyond simply accessing documents. The scheme helps organisations:
In short, the Standards Library turns access to essential technical knowledge into a practical BSIA membership benefit: helping eligible members save money, stay informed, support compliance, and maintain high professional standards.
